dawn amber remembering the past
project selected in Lapima selection process
Influenced by the exaggerations of the styles of previous decades, the fashion of the 90s valued sensual shapes, bright and vibrant colors.
The fashion of the 90's was marked by the diversity of styles, which coexisted in harmony. As freedom of expression started to set the tone, people started to create their own styles, according to their identity. Minimalism and androgynous references gained strength.
In that decade, the grunge style had a huge influence on the behavior of young people. Plaid shirts, casual pants and wide bermuda shorts were pieces that could not be missing from the men's wardrobe. The way of dressing evidenced by the American series “Barrados no baile” was also a great inspiration for the boys. Women, on the other hand, wore and abused pantaloon pants, plaid, striking glasses and long skirts.
With an eye on the 60s and 70s, 90s fashion looked for key elements of those times and brought them with a new look. Undoubtedly, it was the decade of the democratization of styles that is among us until today.
Faced with so many expressions of expression at the time, Aurora amber glasses are born with the essence of the 90s. A project made for the selection process for the Lapima brand.
